Princess Edit

    Our assignment was to prince or princess a classmate. I decided to make myself Ariel because she's pretty cool.
    I made my picture black and white and added color balance adjustment layers to add all of the colors like skin tone, hair, eyes, lips, shirt, and water. I added the bubbles on the side the same way. I made the document too big so I decided to put a frame around it with the fish on the side because he's adorable and he's kind of posed the same way.  I heightened the brightness and contrast because the original photo had really bad lighting.
    The hardest part was figuring out what colors looked natural in all areas of the picture. Overall, this was a lot of fun.

Crappy to Snappy

    I redesigned Queen's 'The Miracle' album cover. The faces were pretty creepy so I decided to refer to the lyrics of the song 'The Miracle' for the cover. They mention the Taj Mahal at one point and peace in the chorus. The song also mention rain in the first verse. I tried to keep some of the gradient in the background as well as the text ideas from the original cover.
