Holiday Project

I made one large red blob and one green blob. Then I liquefied them a bunch and put a solarize filter on it. then I used the wind filter in all different directions. It kind of looked like the static music view on my music editing program so I added a guitar and used the sketch filter. Then I traced a wreath in illustrator and colored it in and put it on the guitar.

Portfolio Update

My portfolio so far. I added in a few new projects I'd been working on for fun and added a description to most of them. The cover basically stayed the same, but I made the text white and added another font.

Avatar

We made an avatar of our self in illustrator. I'm still learning to use the pen tool so it took a while to outline, but I think it turned out well. The most difficult part of the project was the halftone pattern.

Portrait edit

Here's the portrait we've been working on. We edited it. I had a really hard time erasing my hair because it was quite humid and my hair got all frizzy and such. I was happy I was able to even out my skin tone because I had a sunburn that day.

Troll

So... here's my troll. I had a really hard time picking a line to trace on the sketch. It was good for learning the pen tool more though.

Logo

So here's the finished logo. I used blue because it's a sky type color... The airplane is a "T" and that's it.

Logo Ideas

The company I chose was Metro Aviation. I put a sky scraper in one of them, but It got kind of confusing so I took it out and realized the airplane alone looked like a 'T'. What I'm working on now is deciding on font and color. The picture turned out kind of small...

Portfolio Cover

So, um, this is my portfolio front page. I learned a lot because I didn't even know what InDesign did. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep these projects in my portfolio, but that's what I have for right now. The end.
